Jazz Journal (Vol. 67. No. 4 April 2014): *****
“Everything included here is of good performance and is interesting. This cd will appeal to collectors of classic jazz and big bands. That’s more so as much of what is offered is not available elsewhere or only on LP-albums. With good sound quality and generous playing times this set deserves the full five stars that I have allocated
(George Hulme)
VJM (Summer 2013)
An excellent collection of rarities (pace Messrs Whiteman and Scott), in which you will find several items you are unlikely to get anywhere else. And Happy Birthday to Doctor Jazz, by the way! (Max Easterman)
Jazzism (Juli 2013)
Gewetensvol monnikenwerk!
(Lex Lammen)
